Short notice on a very exciting discussion and social event: Technology in Energy. Next Thursday 21st November 18:30, Covent Garden London

Technology in Energy. What an exciting and potent combination. We’re running a round-table event with serious discussion in an informal setting over beer, wine, food . The evening will be hosted and introduced by Dan Carter Co-President LBS Alumni Energy Club.

Dan Carter, Senior Investment Director of Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures is a big player in the sector with 25 years experience;  8 years investing for Salomon / Citigroup, 9 years in Venture fund with Goldman Sachs, Shell, Kuwait Petroleum and now 7 years with Saudi Aramco. Dan will offer 20 minutes of what he sees as at the cutting edge of Tech in Energy in small start ups and to the super majors.

We need your input too. Come along and listen, but preferably come along and have the floor for a few minutes. Whether you are a financier, designer, entrepreneur, lawyer or consultant, working on a specific tech in energy start up idea or developing global acquisition strategies,  whether you’ve lost a lot of money, made a lot of money, going grey as a developer, or analysing what everyone else is doing, please come along and share your views and war stories.

There are only 18 places. Demand will be high despite the short notice. The evening will start at 18:30 prompt, until approx. 20:30 at the Bow Street Tavern, upstairs in the Inspectors Office, 37 Bow St WC2E 7AU (opposite the Royal Opera House).

Please don’t commit and not turn up unless it’s a deep family or business crisis, just not fair on organisation or those queuing for a place.

 

We’ll settle drink and food on the night. £5.00 donation to LBS AEC most welcome from those who’ve made a pile in tech in energy and those who miserably lost it all and where another £5.00 makes no difference!
