This is the story of how a multi-billion $ alternative energy project was financed and delivered in Egypt.

Creating a commercial renewable energy future for a country is interesting enough if you are doing this in the UK or Norway. Doing this in Egypt is really upping the game. Delivering the $multi-billion Egyptian solar energy project, Benban Solar Park, is a significant achievement. This project has transformed Egypt’s energy future. It could transform how the Middle East satisfies its domestic energy demand, freeing conventional resources for export and reducing the price you and I will pay for our energy.
