Is it Time for Your Company to “Go Green” Beyond CSR?
Zoom - 24 September 2020
Do you work for a ‘we will be green tomorrow’ company? Do you want to change this? How many times have you chatted at the watercooler, heard someone say “surely there is something we can do to be a greener company” and heard the reply “they have looked at lots of things, it either costs too much, takes too long or the tech doesn’t work”?
We are pleased to launch our first event jointly from Hong Kong and Paris (virtually, of course) to tell you what you can actually do so you can be an agent for green change where you work.
It is great that companies have paid attention to the need for CSR but often, sustainability measures often end up as a footnote in the Annual Report. Today, in the times of the Covid-19 pandemic, business leaders recognise that there is no other option but to bring sustainability into the mainstream of their business. The pandemic has led to creation and adoption of new ways of doing business that can positively impact both the economy and the environment in Europe and Asia.
Speakers invited to this event include:
Bradley Way, Director of PPA Corporate Energy Services, Innovation, CLP Holdings
Simon Castres Saint Martin, Head of Project Implementation, Energisme
What will we talk about?
Can companies just procure renewable energy and move to 100% renewable energy?
Can companies transform their supply chain to be more sustainable and why is it so hard?
Can companies adopt energy saving solutions as part of their operations or is it just a gimmick?
Are these sustainability measures profitable for a company or a cost to appear a little more green?
Is going green a load of nonsense or can you access new pools of investment capital and reduce costs?
